Delivery & Measuring Guide

Helping you prepare for a smooth delivery experience.

We want your delivery day to be seamless. To make that happen, it's important to check that your furniture fits not just your space, but also your paths of access. Our delivery teams are here to help, but a successful delivery starts with the right prep. Here’s what to do before your order arrives:

1. Select the Right Size Item

Make sure your furniture works for your space and lifestyle. Every product page on our website lists detailed dimensions — height, depth, and width — including arms, curves, and overhangs.

Things to consider before ordering:

  • Measuring your available space.

  • Using masking tape or cardboard to map the footprint.

  • Assessing clearance space to move around the piece comfortably.

2. Measure Your Room and Access Points

Your furniture may fit the room, but can it get there? Measure all relevant access areas, including:

  • Doorways: Height and width (don’t forget skirting and trims).

  • Hallways: Especially any tight corners or low-hanging fixtures.

  • Lifts: Door opening, internal height, and depth.

These measurements should be greater than the furniture’s largest dimensions.

3. Check the Delivery Path

Our team requires clear and safe access from the truck to the room. When placing your order, you’ll be asked to let us know about anything that may affect delivery, including:

  • Truck parking restrictions or time limits.

  • Gated entries or narrow driveways.

  • Lift access or stair-only buildings.

  • Unusual entry conditions or renovations.

This helps our delivery team prepare and prevents failed delivery attempts.

4. Choose Your Delivery Service

When finalising your order, you’ll have two options:

  • Delivery Only: Items are delivered to nominated address.

  • Pick Up: Available from our Truganina VIC warehouse.

5. What to Expect on Delivery Day

We use experienced furniture delivery specialists.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday during business hours. Here’s how to prepare:

  • Please ensure someone is available on-site during the scheduled delivery window to receive and assist with the delivery if needed. Standard deliveries are typically handled by a single driver; assistance may be required to move items, especially larger or more fragile ones.

  • Clear a path: Move rugs, decor, and lighting out of the way.

  • Protect your home: Use floor coverings and corner guards if needed.

  • Confine pets: For everyone’s safety, keep them in a separate room.

Please note, delivery professionals are not permitted and cannot:

  • Disassemble or move your existing furniture.

  • Remove doors from hinges.

  • Install light fixtures or wall-mount items (please use a licensed contractor or builder).

  • Dispose of your existing furniture .

6. Final Check & Responsibility

Please inspect your items before the delivery team leaves. You’ll be asked to sign to confirm the delivery is complete and in good condition.

It is the recipient’s responsibility to ensure the furniture will fit into the home and through all access points. If access is restricted or unsuitable, and this hasn’t been communicated, the team may need to abort the delivery, and redelivery fees may apply.

7. Missed or Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to access limitations or no one being home, a redelivery fee may be charged. To avoid this, please ensure accurate delivery details and site readiness when ordering.

8. Need Help or Not Sure?

If you’re unsure whether your access is suitable, feel free to send us photos of your doorways or entry path — we’re happy to help assess potential challenges before your delivery.
