We’re committed to minimising our impact on the planet and making sustainability a part of everything we do.
Sourcing Responsibly
For us, sustainability starts with responsible sourcing. We choose materials that minimise environmental impact and partner with suppliers who share our values. From sustainably sourced timber to recycled fabrics, we’re committed to reducing our footprint while maintaining the highest quality—crafting each piece with care for your home and the planet.
Timber Transparency
We believe beautiful furniture comes with a responsibility to protect the resources behind it. Timber is central to our collections, and we’re committed to sourcing it responsibly. That means using certified, traceable, or recycled wood, when possible—helping prevent deforestation and protect our forests for the future.
Our Goals
Present Day
Over 70% of our timber comes from more sustainable sources — including traceable timber, recycled wood, or certified responsible forestry.
2026, The Year Ahead
By next year, we aim for 100% of our timber to meet these standards across all collections.
It’s part of our broader mission to design with care - for your home and the planet we all share.
Choosing Better Materials
From thoughtfully chosen fabrics to carefully considered finishes, we’re making smart, sustainable choices at every step. Our goal is to reduce our environmental footprint while continuing to deliver the high-quality craftsmanship and timeless design you expect—proving that style and sustainability can go hand in hand.
Where We Are Now
Over 85% of our polyester velvet is now made from recycled materials.
25% of our broader polyester range uses recycled content.
35% of our cotton is sourced from more sustainable sources, including certified organic and recycled suppliers.
Our goal is to ensure 100% of our key materials—across textiles and upholstery—are sustainably sourced through certified, traceable, or recycled origins.
Every step we take brings us closer to creating furniture that not only looks beautiful, but also aligns with our values, so you can feel just as good about it in your home as we do about its impact on the planet.
Packaging Progress
We understand that packaging is essential to keeping your furniture safe in transit, but we're also mindful of its environmental impact. Guided by customer feedback and our sustainability goals, we’re committed to reducing unnecessary plastics and moving towards packaging that’s recycled and fully recyclable—maintaining the same high standards of protection and care you expect.
The Journey So Far
Packaging volume has been reduced by over 20% since 2021.
A growing portion of our packaging now uses recycled paper and cardboard, and we’re continuing to explore better alternatives every day.
35% of our cotton is sourced from more sustainable sources, including certified organic and recycled suppliers.
Our goal next year is to achieve 100% recycled or recyclable packaging across all product lines.
We know it’s ambitious — but progress matters. And we’re committed to doing better, one delivery at a time.
Putting The GOOD In Bye
Making room for something new often means letting go of something old—but that doesn’t have to mean waste. We’re working on solutions to help you donate, repurpose, or recycle your pre-loved furniture, so it doesn’t end up in a landfill. After all, one person’s "goodbye" can be another’s "hello."
Our direction:
- We're actively exploring partnerships with local donation and rehoming networks to make furniture reuse easier and more accessible.
- We're investing in our returns and refurbishment process to ensure that returned pieces are refreshed, reused, or responsibly recycled.
Our long-term goal is simple, to keep more furniture in homes and out of landfills — and support a more circular future in Australian interiors.
Sustainability At Our Headquarters
Our Melbourne HQ is Australia’s first embodied carbon-neutral building, achieved through sustainable construction practices like low-emission concrete and offsetting remaining emissions with forest restoration projects. In collaboration with Greenfleet, we’re dedicated to restoring native forests across Australia, actively removing carbon from the atmosphere.
Our Commitment
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. By 2026, we aim to ensure 100% of our materials—fabrics, timber, and packaging—meet sustainable standards. We’re also promoting furniture reuse through partnerships that help customers donate or recycle old pieces. For us, sustainability isn’t just a strategy; it’s a core value that guides every decision.
